About Phnom Penh
Phnom Penh is the capital and most populous city of Cambodia. It has been the national capital since the French protectorate of Cambodia and has grown to become the nation's primate city and its economic, industrial, and cultural center.
The best time to go to Phnom Penh is the peak season or between the months November and March. If you go on April or May, bring sun protection because it's usually hot during those months.
Wander through the Royal Palace and admire the Silver Pagoda or visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields to learn about the tragic history of Cambodia. You could also go bar hopping on Bassac Lane or have a drink at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club
